Wall and Floor Tiler

Reflex Stone is looking for a skilled Wall and Floor Tiler to work on residential and commercial projects. The successful applicant will prepare surfaces and install wall and floor tiles to a high standard of finish.

The right applicant will be responsible for:

• Read plans and specifications to determine tiling layouts and material requirements.
• Measure and mark surfaces before commencing installation.
• Prepare walls and floors by cleaning, levelling and repairing surfaces where required.
• Cut and shape tiles to fit around corners, edges, fixtures and fittings.
• Apply adhesives and lay tiles with accurate alignment and spacing.
• Install ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles on walls and floors.
• Apply grout, clean tiled surfaces and complete finishing work.
• Check completed installations for quality and carry out necessary adjustments.
• Coordinate with other trades to complete work within project timelines.
• Maintain tools and work areas and follow workplace health and safety procedures.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler;
• Strong skills in surface preparation, tile cutting, installation and finishing;
• Ability to read plans, take accurate measurements and work independently;
• Careful attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship;
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
